Isn’t it nice when a bad band does a good song? When someone you really don’t like comes along and releases a real stomper, usually by accident. I have it all the time, most recently with the Twang (but that’s another story).
Not that I’m saying Little Man Tate are bad, per se. They are just incredibly mediocre. Clearly signed in some pique of post-Arctic Monkeys love for the North, they weren’t even given the chance to disappoint, because that requires people to expect something of you.
But What? What You Got?… Well, I like it. And I suppose after all that slating, that should say something about it.

Incidentally, it appears Paris Hilton has been released from jail, a mere 20 days early. Apparently she has been transferred to house arrest due to an “undisclosed medical condition”. Poor little Paris, she must be allergic to prison.
I like that you like What? What You Got? ‘Cause LMT are a great band with a lot of good songs. The songs are very catchy and the lyrics may be a bit simple but they are funny at the same time. Have you ever been to one of their gigs? You should go and give them the chance to entertain you optimally. They will re-release their album (produced by Jim Lowe this time) in August with European Lover as their next single. Have a listen again – it will be worth it!
